About the Author Laura Brandon is a writer, curator and war art historian. Since taking up the position of Historian, Art and War in 1992 with the Canadian War Museum, she has lectured extensively in North America and abroad and has written numerous catalogues, articles, chapters and reviews. Dr. Brandon is the author of the award-winning biography Pegi by Herself: The Life of Pegi Nicol MacLeod, Canadian Artist, Art or Memorial?
